Archipelago Research is a privately held investment company in the British Virgin Islands, managing proprietary capital across global public markets and digital assets. The mandate is measured in years, not quarters.

Core holdings
Concentrated positions in global public markets, sized to be carried through full cycles without forced exits. Positions are few, held long, and revisited on their anniversaries rather than on the news.
Digital assets
Held in self-custody and run on-chain, with the same sizing discipline as every other line in the book. Keys are held by the company, procedures are written down, and nothing depends on an exchange staying solvent.
Research
Every position begins as a written thesis: the figure, the date, and the horizon it will be judged against. Theses are scored when they resolve; the archive is the company’s memory.
Angel positions
A handful of early-stage cheques, written where the research runs deepest and sized so that no single one matters. They are charted off the main route: followed with interest, never steered.
Alongside the portfolio, the company takes a small number of advisory engagements each year, in digital assets and growth, where its research already runs deep.
Proprietary capital, only.
The company manages its own capital. It does not raise outside money, does not manage money for others, and does not offer products to the public.
That independence is deliberate. With no redemptions to meet and no quarters to defend, a good position never has to be sold at a bad time.
The company deals with a small number of banks, brokers and counterparties, and expects to be verified before it is trusted. Documentation is available to those it works with.
